    Join us on this unique 4 days desert tour from Marrakech to Fes, discovering the breathtaking landscapes of Morocco. We will first start the trip with a visit to the ancient Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where famous movies have been filmed including Gladiator, Game of Thrones and The Mummy.

    Following that, continue to Dades Gorges and Todra Gorges, the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. We will then continue to the Sahara desert of Merzouga where you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a camel ride through the dunes of Merzouga and spend a magical night under stars.

    Followed by a full day tour of Merzouga desert where you’ll visit nomads and explore their way of life. The next day, continue to Fes, through Ziz Valley and Middle Atlas Mountains concluding your trip in Fes.

    Itinerary of 4 Day Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fes:

    Day 1:Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou →Dades valley (5H):

    In the morning, we will pick you up at your accommodation, or the airport in Marrakech and then head toward Dades Gorges, crossing the amazing High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we will then stop at Tizi N’Tichka Pass, which stands at 2,260 meters. Following that, we will continue our trip through the breathtaking Ounila Valley before arriving at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for being the backdrop of films such as Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and The Mummy. After lunch, we will head to Ouarzazate, often known as “Hollywood of Africa,” where you will visit Taourirt Kasbah and the famous Film Studio of Ouarzazate.

    Our trip then continues toward Dades Gorges, enjoying the breathtaking sceneries along the way. Stopping in Skoura Oasis to explore one of the region’s ancient Kasbahs before continuing to Kalaat M’gouna, known as “The Rose City.” where you’ll visit a local cooperative for rose cosmetic products (optional stop) then proceed to Dades gorges where you will spend the first night of your 4 days desert tour from Marrakech to Fes.

    Day 2: Dades Valley → Todra Gorges →Merzouga Desert (4H):

    In the morning, we’ll then travel to Tinghir passing through beautiful palm groves on our way to the spectacular Todra Gorges. The towering limestone cliffs form a amazing path across the Todra Massif before falling into the riverbed. The gorge’s peaks rise to 320 meters, a spectacular passage through the High Atlas Mountains. Following that, explore the gorges and the palm groves at your own. Following a hearty lunch, we will then continue our journey through Tinjdad and Erfoud, both famous for their gorgeous palm oasis.

    We will then proceed to Merzouga’ Sahara desert.  Upon arrival in Merzouga desert, join a camel ride across the rolling dunes of Erg Chebbi. Afterward, stop to witness a breathtaking sunset over the golden sands dunes their colors changing with the light, reaching an impressive height of 140 meters. Arriving at your desert camp where you’ll spend the night with a drumming party around the campfire. 

    Day 3:Merzouga Full day tour:

    Wake early to watch a breathtaking sunrise over the desert before returning to the camp for breakfast. Following that, join on a full-day tour of Merzouga, starting with a visit to the nomadic families living behind the dunes of Merzouga, where you’ll get a glimpse into their traditional way of life. Afterward, continue to Khamlia, where you’ll meet a local African music group, listen to their captivating rhythms, and learn about their culture.

    Afterward, return to Merzouga for lunch before exploring Hassi Lbeid oasis. Following that, take a leisurely walk through the palm groves of Hassi Lbeid, free time to try Quad or Buggy ride through the dunes of Merzouga then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

    Day 4: Merzouga → Midelt →Fes (7H):

    In the morning, we will leave toward Fes, enjoying the breathtaking sceneries along the way. We’ll then drive through the beautiful Ziz Valley, where you’ll visit one of Morocco’s largest oasis. After that, we’ll continue toward Midelt, which is known as “The Apple Capital,” Stopping for lunch. Following that, we’ll continue through the Cedar Forest, Morocco’s largest forest then drive toward Ifrane, known as ”Morocco’s Little Switzerland”, visit the Atlas Lion Statue and then continue toward Fes where you’ll be finally dropped off at your accommodation or the airport.

    How can I book this tour, and what are the payment methods available?

    To book your 4 days tour from Marrakech to Fes, simply contact us via WhatsApp, email, contact form, or social media. After we finalize the trip, a small deposit payable by PayPal, credit card, or bank transfer will be required to secure your booking. Once the deposit is received, you will receive a formal booking confirmation. The remaining balance can be paid in cash at pick-up or by credit card (subject to a 5% processing fee).

    What is your cancellation policy in case I have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances?

    Your deposit is fully refundable for cancellations made more than 15 days before your trip’s start date. However, cancellations made less than 15 days, the deposit is none-refundable.

    Where will I meet the driver upon arrival? Is there a specific meeting point arranged?

    Our driver will meet you at your location, whether at the airport or your accommodation. Kindly share your accommodation address so we can arrange your pick-up there at 8:40 a.m.

    If I choose not to go to the camp by camel, are there alternative transportation options available?

    Certainly if you prefer not to ride a camel, we can arrange a 4×4 Jeep transfer to take you to the camp instead.

    If I choose to ride the camel to the camp, will my luggage be transported separately to the camp?

    Absolutely, your luggage will be safely transported to the camp via a 4×4 jeep.
