5 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech

Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouan- Fes:

DAY 2: Fes Full day sightseeing:

After breakfast at your Riad in Fes, Start your Full day tour of Fes by meeting with your local guide, and then start exploring the historic and cultural attractions around the city like Bab Boujloud, also known as the blue Gate, which serves as the entrance to the historic Medina of Fes. Followed by a stroll through the narrow alley ways of the old Medina of Fes. Next, we will go to Ennajjarine Fountain and Attarine Medrasa before heading to Tanneries, where leather is used for producing clothes, bags, shoes..etc. After that, visit Batha museum and Al Qaraouine university, a UNESCO world heritage site and the oldest university in the world. Late afternoon, we will visit the Royal Palace, Morocco’s king Palace, and then take you to Borj Nord where you’ll enjoy a panoramic view of Fes before taking you to your Riad for overnight.

DAY 3: Fes – Merzouga Desert:

In the morning, we’ll pick you up from your accommodation  in Tangier, then head toward the Sahara desert of Merzouga, taking in the finest sceneries along the way. Stopping at Ifrane, Morocco’s little Switzerland where you’ll visit the Atlas Lion Statue. Following that, continue to the Cedar Forest of Morocco, Morocco’s Largest Forest, take some photographs with the Barbary Monkeys and then proceed toward Zaid and Midelt where you’ll stop for lunch. Following that, drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, admiring the finest sceneries along the way. Stop at Tizi N Talghamt pass. Arriving in Aoufous, where you’ll enjoy a panorama over one of the largest oasis in Morocco. Then continue toward the Sahara desert of Merzouga, where you’ll meet your camel guide and then start your camel ride adventure through the dunes of Merzouga. Stop for a breathtaking sunset and then continue to your desert camp where you’ll spend the night.

DAY 4: Merzouga –  Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges:

Today our journey continues with a drive towards the captivating Dades Gorges. Along the way, prepare to be captivated by the remarkable destinations. Our first stop will be Rissani, the thriving capital city of Tafilalet.  Next, we’ll stop at the ancient irrigation wells nearby the city of Fezna where you can marvel at the ingenious methods used by locals of the area as a way to get water for their palm trees and their oasis. Our adventure proceeds to the towering Todgha Gorges, colossal rock formations that stands up to 300 meters, Finally, our day’s journey finishes with a comfortable stay at a hotel in Dades Gorges.

DAY 5: Dades Gorges – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech:

After breakfast at your accommodation in Dades Gorges, our journey continues to Marrakech, a route to the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou with various notable sites and landscapes. We stop in Kalaat Mgouna,  40 kilometers from Dades. Here, we take a moment to immerse ourselves in the artistry of rose flower products. Then, we drive to Skoura Home to 1000 kasbahs.

Following that, our path drives us to Ouarzazate, known as the “City of Cinema.” This cinematic hub boasts numerous Atlas studios, providing a fascinating glimpse into the world of film production. For those with a keen interest, a visit to one of these studios offers insight into the cinematic arts (please note that an admission ticket is required). A highlight of our journey continues to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, UNESCO world heritage site. serving as the backdrop for famous films such as “Lawrence of Arabia” and The British-American Epic and “Gladiator.” Following that, we continue our way to the fascinating Atlas Mountains, taking in the sceneries along the way. Arriving in Tizi N Tichka pass ( 2260 meters high ). Late afternoon, we drive to Marrakech drop you off at your accommodation or Airport in Marrakech.
