6 Days tour from Casablanca to Marrakech Itinerary:
Day 1 : Casablanca – Rabat – Fez:
Our driver will pick you up from your accommodation or the airport in Casablanca at 8:00 a.m then begin you 6 days tour by visiting Hassan II Mosuqe, second largest Mosque in Africa with a lovely acheticture and designs. The Mosque extends to around 100, 000 whorshippers towards the capital city of Rabat, marveling the finest sceneries along the way. Once in Rabat, visit Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohamed 5 and walk though the bustling souks of Chellah. Following that, we continue your journey through the breathtaking Riff Mountains, take in the captivating tourist sights such as Volubilis, the Old Roman ruins and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunchtime, Then visit Meknes’s historical attractions including Bab Mansour and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. before heading to Fez, where your night will be spent at your accommodation.
Day 2: Fes Full day sightseeing:
After breakfast, you will meet your private tour guide to enjoy a guided city tour to explore the first imperial city of Morocco, Fes; this UNESCO World Heritage Site was founded in the 9th century, and is home to the world’s oldest university. The first stop of the morning is a visit to the entrance of the largest royal palace in Morocco. Afterwards, we will drive for a wonderful panoramic views of the whole medina from the southern tower of Fes, visit a pottery co-operative where tiles and Moroccan mosaic are made. We will visit the tanneries, to watch the locals working with the skins of animals such as goat, camel and cow. We will explore a Medrassa (Koranic school), the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, and Al Karaouine Mosque University. Enjoy a Moroccan lunch at a traditional restaurant in the Medina. Afterwards, continue to explore the medina and its narrow alleys house hundreds of merchants and craftsmen selling a range of products such as dates, fish, spices, copper urns. We take you to Borj Nord where you’l see the whole Medina of Fes then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.
Day 3: Fes – Cedar Forest – Merzouga:
In the morning, journey through the Middle Atlas with a stop to enjoy the charming ski area of Ifrane named as “The little Switzerland of Morocco” before you experience fragrant cedar forests filled with chatty Barbary apes and rustic Berber villages. The largest in Morocco. There, you will have the opportunity to see the monkeys in the wild, and have the chance to feed them while taking some memorable pictures. Perhaps stop for lunch in the beautiful Midelt in its spectacular location between the Middle and High Atlas and enjoy breathtaking views of the eastern High Atlas. This particularly varied itinerary from north to south offers a diversity of impressions through the scenic Mountains where nomad shepherds live and move with their herds of goats and sheep across these Mountains. Admire this legendary valley named Ziz and which runs along a deep canyon all the way down to Erfoud, known as the ” The Date Capital”. Following that, cross the rocky desert to arrive in Merzouga where you’ll join a camel ride through the golden dunes of Merzouga, a stop to watch sunset then contninue to your desert camp where you’ll spend the night with a drumming party around the campfire.
Day 4: Merzouga Full day tour:
In the morning wake up for stunning sunrise. Then you’ll ride camel back to your accommodation in Merzouga for breakfast before continuing your 6 day tour from Casablanca to Marrakech. For a unique experience, you will take a tour of the Merzouga area by 4×4 vehicle which includes a visit to Hassi Lbied, Tanamoust, and Khamlia. At Midday, we ‘ll make a visit to nomads and learn about their way of life. Enjoy Berber Pizza for lunch return to the dune line hotel where you’ll spend the night.
Day 5: Merzouga – Draa valley – Ouarzazate:
In the morning after breakfast at your accommodation in Merzouga, we will travel to Rissani, where you’ll visit Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum and traditional souks (markets) showcase a plethora of traditional items such as handicrafts, carpets, accessories, and more. Following that, we continue our trip through the enchanting Draa Valley and gray Mountains allowing you to marvel at the stunning nature of Draa Oasis. Following that, we’ll arrive in Ouarzazate, then you will be transfered to the hotel where you’ll spend the night.
Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech:
After breakfast at your accommodation in Ouarzazate, we’ll begin our day by visiting Touarirt Kasbah, and then we will head Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah (fortified village and UNESCO world heritage site). following that, we will head via the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech on the way we will pass through Tizi N Tichka (2260 m) . Following that, On the journey to Marrakech, you’ll pass through Berber villages, take in the beautiful sceneries and savor the breathtaking views. After that, we’ll continue on to Marrakech. Once you arrive in Marrakech, you’ll be taken to your hotel in the city where you’ll spend the night.
