6 Days Morocco Tour From Tangier to Marrakech Itinerary:
Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouan – Fes:
In the morning, your driver will meet you in Tangier to begin your 6-day journey from Tangier to Marrakech, taking you through the stunning scenery of the Rif Mountains. Along the way, you’ll pass through Tetouan, famously known as “The White Dove,” and enjoy a relaxed drive through the majestic mountains of northern Morocco. Your first major stop will be the Akchour Waterfalls, where you can stroll along the river and soak in the natural beauty. The tour then continues to Chefchaouen, also known as “The Blue Pearl.” There, you’ll explore the city’s charming attractions with a local guide, including a visit to the old Medina, where you’ll wander through narrow alleys and picturesque blue-painted streets.
Later on, we leave for Volubilis, the most significant archeological Roman ruins in Morocco and UNESCO world heritage site. Following that, make a visit to Meknes. one of Morocco’s imperial cities, visit Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, Bab Mansour and then visit the ancient walls of the old Medina. Afterward, we will leave for Fes where you’ll spedn the night.


Day 2: Fes Full day sightseeing:
After breakfast, meet your private tour guide for a guided tour of Fes, Morocco’s first imperial city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Founded in the 9th century, Fes is home to the world’s oldest university and boasts a rich history. Your tour begins with a visit to the grand entrance of Morocco’s largest royal palace. Next, head to a scenic viewpoint at the southern tower of Fes for a breathtaking panoramic view of the medina. Continue to a pottery cooperative, where you’ll witness the intricate craftsmanship behind Moroccan tiles and mosaics. Day 3: Fes – Cedar Forest – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert:
In the morning, our driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Fes, then we pass through Ifrane known as ‘’Morocco’s little Switzerland.’’ visit the Atlas Lion Statue then we cross the Middle Atlas Mountains and spend most of the morning enjoying the beautiful forests, the jaggedrock walls, and Berber villages. Making a stop at Cedar forest, Morocco’ largest forest. Following that, we continue along the way to Midelt, known as ”The Apple Capital,” and then continue to Merzouga through Ziz Valley and Erfoud, the capital of dates. Arriving in Merzouga, set off on a camel ride adventure across the breathtaking Erg Chebbi dunes. Stop to witness an awe-inspiring sunset as the golden sands shift like dynamic sculptures, revealing a spectrum of hues under changing light. Observe the towering dunes, some soaring up to 150 meters, forming nature’s grand fortresses. Upon reaching your desert camp, indulge in free time for a sandboarding adventure. Enjoy a magical evening under the starry sky in nomadic tent, relishing a delicious dinner and enchanting Berber drum music with the locals. Day 4: Merzouga desert – Todra Gorges – Dades gorges:
Wake up for a lovely sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga and then set off towards Rissani, one of Morocco’s oldest cities, where you’ll immerse yourself in Bedouin culture and visit a nomadic family along the way. Stop in Rissani, famous for its unique Berber pizza, Madfouna, offering an optional opportunity to sample this local delicacy for lunch. Continuing through Erfoud, known for its annual Date Festival and remarkable fossil discoveries, visit a local fossil museum in the city.
The journey then takes you through Jorf and Melaab, where you can experience traditional Moroccan Henna, known as “The Moroccan tattoo” (free & optional). Following that, continue your trip toward Todra Gorges, enjoying the amazing scenery along the way. Upon arrival at Todra Gorges, walk through its canyons and appreciate the breathtaking sceneries. After enjoying lunch in the heart of the gorges, take a scenic walk along the river before continuing to the Dades Valley, passing through the red Mountains. Arriving in Dades Gorges, visit the famous rock formation known as ”Monkey Fingers,” then explore the winding road of Tisadrine and overnight at your accommodation riad in Dades Valley.
Day 5: Dades gorges – Ouarzazate – Marrakech:
Set off towards the Rose city of Kalaat M’gouna, making a visit to local cooperatives that produce cosmetic products (optional stop). Continuing our journey via Skoura, known as the Home of 1000 Kasbahs, explore the famous Kasbah of Ameridile, one of the oldest kasbahs in the region. Moving forward, the tour proceeds to the city of Ouarzazate, often referred to as Hollywood of Africa. Visit Taourirt Kasbah and the film studio of Ouarzazate. After lunch, our route takes us to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage site and a fortified village, best destination for filmmakers (featured in Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and The Mummy).
Continuing on our journey towards Marrakech, passing through Talouet. Upon reaching Glaoui Kasbah, a famous Kasbah in the Ounila Valley, we proceed through the High Atlas Mountains, making a stop at the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260m ). Following that, drive to Marrakech, arriving in Marrakech, take you to your accommodation where you will spend the night.
Day 6: Marrakech Full day Tour:
After breakfast at your accommodation, you’ll begin a guided tour of Marrakech, the iconic Red City. Visit Saadian Tombs and the elegant Bahia Palace. Then continues with visits to the vibrant Majorelle Gardens, the historic Badi Palace, and the tranquil Menara Gardens, a favourite among visitors.
