7 days tour from Casablanca to Marrakech Itinerary:

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouan: 

In the morning, our driver will pick you up from the airport or your hotel in Casablanca, then take you to visit Hassan II Mosque, second largest Mosque in Africa, extends to 100,000 worshippers, the mosque is intricately adorned with lovely designs. Following that, we’ll head to Rabat, appreciating the breathtaking sceneries along the way. Arriving in Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. We’ll visit Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohamed V and Oudaya Kasbah. Lunch time, then we’ll cross the Riff Mountains taking in the finest landscapes along the way witness the allure of the blue city of Chefchaouen. Nestled amidst the Rif Mountains and surrounded by oak and pine trees, Chefchaouen is a popular tourist destination offering breathtaking views overnight at your accommodation in Chefchaouan.

Day 2: Chefchaouan full day sightseeing:

In the morning, you’ll meet your local guide and then start your full day tour of Chefchaouan, First, start with a visit to the old Medina of Chefchaouan, walk through its blue washed alleys, while learning about the city’s history simply wandering through the blue-painted streets and alleyways of Chefchaouen is an experience in itself. The vibrant hues the buildings, colorful doors, and windows create a magical and peaceful ambiance. Following that, Visit the Spanish Mosque of Chefchaouan, offering a lovely panorama over the Blue city of Chefchaouan. Late afternoon, explore Plaza Uta El Hammam, a lively sequare with a variety of activities like musicians, dancer and more. Late afternoon, take you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 3: Chefchaouan – Fes:

After breakfast at your accommodation in Chefchaouan. We’ll cross the Riff Mountains towards heading Ouazane, taking in the opportunity to marvel at the incredible Riff Mountains with the aim of reaching Fez by the afternoon. On the route, we’ll stop at Volubilis, a preserved roman ruins, and UNESCO World heritage site. Following that, our trip continues to Meknes, where we’ll stop for lunch, and then visit the remarkable Bab Mansour gate, a grand entrance located in the old town of Meknes. After that, we’ll explore Moulay Ismail mausoleum. Arriving in Fes transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 4: Fes Full day sightseeing:

After breakfast, you will meet your private tour guide to enjoy a guided city tour to explore the first imperial city of Morocco, Fes; this UNESCO World Heritage Site was founded in the 9th century, and is home to the world’s oldest university. The first stop of the morning is a visit to the entrance of the largest royal palace in Morocco. Afterwards, we will drive for a wonderful panoramic views of the whole medina from the southern tower of Fes, visit a pottery co-operative where tiles and Moroccan mosaic are made. We will visit the tanneries, to watch the locals working with the skins of animals such as goat, camel and cow. We will explore a Medrassa (Koranic school), the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, and the Karaouine Mosque University. Enjoy a Moroccan lunch at a traditional restaurant in the Medina. Afterwards, continue to explore the medina and its narrow alleys house hundreds of merchants and craftsmen selling a range of products such as dates, fish, spices, copper urns and musical instruments. Late afternoon, transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Merzouga Desert:

In the morning after breakfast at your accommodation in Fes, we pass through the Middle Atlas with a stop to enjoy the charming ski area of Ifrane named as “the little Switzerland of Morocco” where you’ll stop for a coffe and visit the Atlas Lion Statue then head to Cedar Forest, Morocco’s largest Forest where see Barbary apes and rustic Berber villages. Here, you will have the opportunity to see the monkeys in the wild, and have the chance to feed them while taking some memorable pictures. Perhaps stop for lunch in the beautiful Midelt in its spectacular location between the Middle and High Atlas and enjoy breathtaking views of the eastern High Atlas. This particularly varied itinerary from north to south offers a diversity of impressions through the scenic Mountains where nomad shepherds live and move with their herds of goats and sheep across these Mountains. Admire this legendary valley named Ziz and which runs along a deep canyon all the way down to Erfoud, known as the date Capital. 

Late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga desert where you’ll meet you  camel guide and then set off on a camel ride adventure through the dunes of Merzouga enjoying the lovely sceneries along the way. Stopping to watch sunset then continue to your desert camp where you’ll spend the night in the middle of the desert with a unique drumming party around the campfire. 

Day 6: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges:

In the morning wake up for a breathtaking sunrise over the amazing dunes of Merzouga, offering a spectacular start to the day. Following that, after breakfast at your desert camp, while marveling at the breathtaking sceneries of the Sahara. We will depart towards Tinghir via Jorf, treating you to magnificent views of the Tafilate palm tree oasis along the journey. Then, we pass through Berber villages along the way. Stopping in Melaab where you’ll have the chance to try Berber weeding dress and Henna known as the Moroccan tattoo (optional). Arriving at Todra Gorges, Morocco’s tallest and narrowest gorges and the ideal location for mountain climbers, you’ll have free time to wander alongside its the riderside. Following that, we’ll drive to Dades Gorges to witness the spectacular sand castles, visit rock formation known as ”The Monkey Fingers” and the wavy road of Tisadrine where you’ll watch a marvelous sunset then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night in Dades Valley.

Day 7: Dades Gorges – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech:

In the morning, we continue our 7-day tour from Casablanca to Marrakech, traversing the route known as the road of 1000 Kasbahs, passing through Kalaat M’gouna, known as the Rose City where you’ll visit a local cooperative for cosmetic products (optional stop). Then head to the rose valley offering a breathtaking photo opportunities. A stop in Skoura allows you to explore Ameridil Kasbah, one of the ancient kasbahs in the region. Following that, Our journey continues to Ouarzazate, where we make a stop to explore the film studio and Taourirt kasbah.

Late afternoon, drive to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, UNESCO world heritage site and famous for its majestic setting that has served as the backdrop for various films like Gladiator, Game of Thrones and The Mummy. Following that, we continue our 7-day tour traversing the Tizi N Tichka pass (2260 m). Along the route to Marrakech, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the High Atlas Mountains, with a stop at the top of the Tizi N Tichka pass for some exceptional photographing opportunities. Afterward, we head to Marrakech. Late afternoon you will be dropped off at your accommodation or the airport in Marrakech.
