9 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Tangier:
Upon arrival in Tangier, our driver will be waiting for you at the airport and then transfer you to your accommodation, drop your luggage off and then start your tour of Tangier, visit Hercules caves, and the old Medina of Tangier, walk through its lively narrow streets. Following that, we’ll take you to the Cape Spartel where the mediterranean sea meets the Atlantic ocean. Late afternoon, we’ll transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.
Day 2: Tangier – Akchour – Chefchaouan:
After breakfast at your accommodation In Tangier, we’ll drive along the Riff Mountains, passing through the fertile plains of Tetouan, we see oaks, pines and cork oaks grow along the way. On the way to Chefchaouan, we’ll stop at Akchour waterfalls; walk along its beautiful valley and enjoy the stunning landscapes the place has to offer. Later on, we drive to Chefchaouan, a charming town nestled against the captivating backdrop of the
Riff Mountains, full of whitewashed cottages and unique alleyways. The town of Chefchouan was built in the Spanish style and is surrounded by a host of quirky craft shops. The city was painted blue by the Jewish refugees who settled there during the 1930s. Take a local tour of the city to witness the incredible sights. Following that, you will spend a night in a magnificent Riad where you will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the silence of the city.
Day 3: Chefchaouan – Volubilis – Fes:
After breakfast at your accommodation in Chefchaouan, we will drive through the Rif Mountains, explore the amazing Landscapes of the place, and then pass through small villages on the way to Fez. Arriving in Volubilis [the best-preserved Roman ruins in this part of North Africa, and a UNESCO World Heritage site]. After that, we will visit the whitewashed village of Mounlay Idriss, a charming village nestled in the Riff Mountains. After a visit to the city of Meknes, we will visit the well-known Bab- Mansour gate, which is located around the massive city walls. Afterward, we continue our tour towards the city of Fez where you will spend the night.
Day 4: Fes Full day sightseeing:
After breakfast, meet your private tour guide for an immersive exploration of Fes, Morocco’s first imperial city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Founded in the 9th century, Fes is home to the world’s oldest university. Your day begins with a visit to the grand entrance of Morocco’s largest royal palace. Next, take in breathtaking panoramic views of the medina from the southern tower before stopping at a pottery cooperative to see artisans crafting tiles and traditional Moroccan mosaics.
Continue to the famous tanneries, where locals process animal hides such as goat, camel, and cow using age-old techniques. Explore a historic Medrassa (Koranic school), the Nejjarine Fountain, the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, and the renowned Karaouine Mosque University. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch in the heart of the medina before wandering through its labyrinthine alleys, lined with merchants and craftsmen selling spices, dates, fish, copperware, and musical instruments. Day 5: Fes – Cedar Forest Forest – Merzouga Desert:
After breakfast at your accommodation in Fes, we will depart from Fes passing through Ifrane known as Morocco’s little Switzerland, then we will cross the Middle Atlas Mountains and spend most of the time enjoying the beautiful forests, the jagged rock walls, and Berber villages. Making stop at Cedar forest, Morocco’ largest forest. Next, continue along the way to Midelt where we stop for lunch, famous for its fossils and known as the ‘’Apple Capital’’, then we continue to Merzouga through Ziz valley and Erfoud, the capital of dates. Arriving in Merzouga desert, meet your camel guide at the dune line then start your camel ride adventure crossing the high dunes of Merzouga. Making stop to watch sunset, then continue to your desert camp in the middle of the desert where you will spend the night.



Day 6: Merzouga Desert – Dades Gorges:
In the morning wake up early for a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga desert, then return to the camp where you’ll have breakfast and then continue your trip toward the scenic Todra Gorges, traveling along the Rugged Cane Road, which is lined with thousands of kasbahs. then pass through the lovely palm groves of Tafilalet, admiring the finest sceneries along the way. Following that, we’ll arrive at the breathtaking Todra Gorges, where water springs flow between the towering rocks, offering incredible views of the natural landscape. We’ll take a brief tour of the Todra Gorge, surrounded by towering pink and grey rock formations. Our first destination is the beautiful Valley of Rose Flowers, near Mgouna where you’ll be surrounded by a sea of fragrant pink flowers, adding a burst of color to the landscape. This area is famous for its rose-based products, which you may want to explore.
Next, we’ll visit Ouarzazate, often known as “Hollywood of Morocco.” Here, you’ll be amazed by one of the famous Atlas Studios, where the magic of filmmaking comes to life. Movie lovers will appreciate seeing the studios where many famous films were made. Following that, we’ll then continue to the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its stunning beauty and historical significance. This ancient fortress, featured in films like Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator, offers a chance to walk through its halls and admire its intricate architecture.
After a delicious lunch, we’ll begin our ascent into the High Atlas Mountains. At a lovely spot 2,260 meters above sea level, you’ll have the opportunity to take breathtaking photographs. Late afternoon, we’ll finally arrive in the vibrant city of Marrakech, then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.
Day 8: Marrakech Full day sightseeing:
After breakfast, a local tour guide will accompany you on an exploration of Marrakech, visiting its most iconic historical landmarks. Discover the lovely Bahia Palace, built in the 19th century, and the Saadian Tombs, a 17th-century royal necropolis. Continue to the Ben Youssef Koranic School, known for its intricate architecture, and admire the 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque, the city’s most famous religious site, Stroll through the bustling souks, a vibrant marketplace where you can shop for unique gifts and souvenirs.
