3 days Agadir desert trip Itinerary:

Day 1: Agadir- Taroudant – Ouarzazate:

After breakfast at your lodging in Agadir, our driver will pick you up to commence your 3-day Agadir desert journey. We’ll head through Taroudant, renowned for saffron, and explore some cooperatives in the city to gain insights into the product. Then continue your desert trip, you’ll pass by argan farms lining the roadside, with a stop to capture photographs of the harvesting goats. Following this, we’ll traverse Taznakht, a small Berber village nestled at the footstep of the High Atlas Mountains.

At midday, we’ll reach the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a fortified village situated near Ouarzazate. Following that, we’ll drive to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the Hollywood of Africa, visit the film studio before taking you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert:

Today, set out from the Hollywood of Africa, Ouarzazate, and drive to Skoura, famous for its 1000 kasbahs. Explore the Ameridile Kasbah along the way. Continue along the route to Kalaat M’gouna, known as the Rose city. Proceed to Todra Gorges, a preferred destination for mountain climbers, towering at 320 meters walk by the river to enjoy the finest sceneries of Todra Gorges before driving towards Tinjdad, where we stop for lunch. We continue our 3-day Agadir desert trip towards Merzouga desert.

Upon reaching Melaab, a small Berber village, take a break at a traditional market to immerse yourself in the Berber culture. Then drive to Merzouga desert, passing via Erfoud Known as the date capital. Arriving in Merzouga desert where you’ll meet your camel guide then commence your desert adventure crossing the Erg Chebbi dunes. Stop to witness a breathtaking sunset before arriving at your desert camp where you’l spend a magical night under stars.

Day 3: Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Taroudant – Marrakech:

Wake up for a remarkable sunrise, Then continue your 4-day Agadir desert tour through Rissani, where we stop to explore a Berber market and visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Chreif. Following that, we proceed towards Nkob, a small Berber village, where a lunch stop is planned. Then we drive through Ait Saouen pass, continuing our way to Ouarzazate arriving in Marrakech by late afternoon. You’ll be dropped off at your accommodation in Marrakech, or Agadir.
