4 days from Marrakech to Ouarzazate tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech – Ouzoud Waterfall:
In the morning, we’ll pick you up from your accommodation or the airport in Marrakech at 8:00 a.m. and head toward Ouzoud Waterfall, North Africa’s most magnificent waterfall, with stops along the way to view the lush olive trees and enjoy the amazing scenery the place has to offer. Arrive at the Ouzoud Waterfalls, then enjoy a fantastic view of the waterfalls, and then walk along the waterfall with your local guide and have lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the waterfalls. Following that, If interested, you can hire a boat for a marvellous experience. Late afternoon, we’ll transfer you to your accommodation, where you’ll spend the night.
Day 2: Ouzoud Waterfalls – Imilchil:
After breakfast at your accommodation, continue your trip through the Middle Atlas to Imilchil, a small Berber town located in the Middle Atlas Mountains, and enjoy the scenic drive along the way. Arriving in Imichil, visit the Isli Lake, then continue to the lovely village of Imilchil, which holds a marriage festival every September. This festival, also known as September Romance, celebrates the Ait Yaazza culture of an annual collective marriage in which women search for and choose their soul mate. If you are taking this tour in September, you will get an opportunity to attend this cultural festival. From here, make a visit to lovely Lake of Tislite (bride) overnight at your accommodation in Imilchil.
Day 3: Imilchil – Dades Gorges:
After breakfast, travel toward Todra Gorges, taking in the amazing landscapes along the way passing through Ait Hdidou Valley. Afterwards, arriving in Todra Gorges, a famous destination for mountains climbers, offering great mountains with a height of 320 meters, enjoy the outstanding scenery, and take a tour along the riverside to see the fascinating landscapes. If you are interested, you can try your hand at mountain climbing. After that, we’ll cross the Red Mountains, marvelling at the incredible sceneries along the way. Arriving in Dades Gorges, then visit the rock formation known as Monkey Fingers and the winding road of Tisadrine. Late afternoon, we’ll transfer you to your accommodation, where you’ll spend the night.
Day 4: Dades Gorges – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech:
In the morning, we continue on our trip toward Marrakech, passing through Kalaat M’gouna, known as the rose city, where you’ll visit a local cooperative for rose cosmetic products (optional stop). Arriving in Skoura, known for its 1000 kasbahs, then visit Ameridile Kasbah, one of the ancient kasbahs in the region. Following that, continue our trip toward Ouarzazate, enjoying the amazing landscapes along the way. Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, explore the film Studio of Ouarzazate and Taourirt kasbah. Next, proceed to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and best place for film makers where several movies have been filmed, like Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and The Mummy. After lunch at a local restaurant, then drive across the lovely Atlas Mountains, making a stop at Tizi N Tichka pass (2260 meters high), offering you eye-catching panoramic views over the High Atlas Mountains. Late afternoon, arrive in Marrakech transfer you to your accommodation or the airport in Marrakech.
