Our 4-day desert tour from Ouarzazate to Merzouga offers a rich journey through “Hollywood of Africa” Ouarzazate where you’ll explore the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and the city’s famous film studios. Your tour continues to Skoura, famous as the land of a thousand kasbahs, where you’ll visit the historic Amridil Kasbah. Following that, head to Kelaat M’gouna, known for its annual Rose Festival, and stop by local cooperatives that produce a variety of rose-based products. The day concludes with a scenic drive to the dramatic landscapes of the Dades Gorges. The following day, drive to Merzouga Sahara desert with a stop at Todra Gorges, enjoy the enchanting sceneries along the way. Then continue to the Sahara desert of Merzouga where you’ll spend a magical night at your desert camp. Next, head to Ouarzazate, taking an alternative route. A notable stop in Rissani, known as “The Trade City,” where you’ll have the opportunity to explore a traditional Berber souk (market). Our route then continues through Alnif. By midday, we reach Nkob, a beautiful Berber village, where we stop for a relaxing lunch. Next, proceed through the Draa Valley and the Ait Saouen pass, arriving in Ouarzazate, where your trip finishes with amazing stories.

4 days Tour From Ouarzazate to Merzouga Itinerary:
Day 1: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Gorges:
In the morning, we’ll begin your tour at 8:00 a.m. Set off with a drive to Ait Ben Haddou, UNESCO world heritage site where several movies like Gladiator, Game of Thrones and The Mummy. Explore the Kasbah with a local guide. Following that, head to Ouarzazate, Hollywood of Africa, and Film Studio of Ouarzazate. After lunch, continue our way to Skoura, Home to 1000 kasbahs. Make a visit to Ameridile Kasbah, among other famous kasbahs in the area. Following this, we’ll continue to Kalaat M’gouna, famed for its vibrant rose festival. On the route, make stops along the way before reaching Dades Gorges where you’ll visit rock formation known as Monkey Fingers and then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.
Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert:
Following a hearty breakfast at your accommodation in Dades Gorges, continue on a scenic drive along the route heading to Todra Gorges, known as Morocco’s narrowest gorges in enjoy a walk through the gorges with your local guide and then you’ll have the opportunity to hike through the canyons. Following that, continues through the Tinghir Oasis. Upon reaching Tinjdad, where you’ll stop for lunch before continuing to the Sahara Desert of Merzouga where your camel guide will be waiting for you to take you on a camel ride through the lovely dunes of Merzouga. Stopping for a breathtaking sunset and then continue to your desert camp where you’ll spend the night with a drumming party around the campfire.
Day 3: Merzouga areas – Nomad Families:
Begin your morning with a guided tour of Merzouga and its surrounding villages, including Hassi Labied, Tanamoust, and Khamlia where you’ll enjoy a vibrant traditional music by Gnawa group. Afterward, set off on a 4×4 adventure across Merzouga dunes, visiting nomadic families to gain insight into their daily lives and traditions. The tour continues with a visit to the peaceful Hassi Labied Oasis. In the late afternoon, you’ll be transferred to your accommodation for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Merzouga – Nkob – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate:
In the morning, we’ll head through Djebl Sghrou and Draa valley, Morocco’s Longest Valley, way back to Ouarzazate. Stopping in Rissani to see Moulay Ali Chrif’s Mausoleum. Then we continue through Alnif and Nkob, known as the kingdom of Kasbahs where we will stop for lunch. Afterward, proceed to Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest valley. Stop for some photographs and then continue to Ouarzazate through the road of Ait Souen. Late afternoon, arrive in Ouarzazate then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.
