3 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga

In the morning, we will pick you up from accommodation at 8:40 am and take you through the High Atlas Mountains, admire the eye caching sceneries along the way. Stopping at Berber villages at the Heart of the Atlas Mountains then cross the wonderful Tizi N’Tichka pass at 2260 meters, where you will appreciate marvelous views and then travel toward Ouarzazate known as ”Hollywood of Africa”. Arriving in Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified villages and UNESCO world heritage site where many movies have beeen filmed like Gladiator, Game of Thrones and the Mummy. Free time for lunch then enjoy a guided tour of the kasbahs. 

Next, we’ll visit Taourirt kasbah and the famous film studios of Ouarzazate, often referred to as  “Hollywood of Africa” due to its importance in the film industry. Following that, we’ll then drive through Dades Valley, passing through Skoura, famous for its 1000 kasbahs, and stop at the Ameridile Kasbah, one of the ancient kasbahs in the region. We’ ll then continue to Dades Gorges enjoying the eye-catching sceneries along the way.  Stop at  Rose Valley, where you’ll visit a local cooperative for rose cosmetic products.

Arriving in Dades Gorges, explore the famous rock formation known as” Moneky Fingers” and the wavy road of Tisadrine before transferring you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

After breakfast at your riad in Dades Gorges, we will continue your trip towards Tinghir passing through Todra Gorges’ palm groves. This breathtaking site offers towering limestone and canyons crossing the Todra Gorges. We will then take some time to wander through the gorges and palm groves at your pace.

After a hearty lunch, proceed to Tinjdad and Erfoud, known for their palm groves, before heading towards the fascinating Merzouga Desert. We will then pass through Tafilalet oasis, enjoying the finest scenery along the way. Arriving in Merzouga desert, meet your camel guide and start your camel ride adventure through the lovely dunes of Merzouga admiring the lovely sceneries along the way. 

We will then make stop over the vast golden sand dunes and then continue to your desert camp in the middle of the desert where you’ll spend the night with a fantastic drumming party around the campfire.

Wake up for a wonderful sunrise over the golden dunes of Merzouga and then return to your desert camp where you will enjoy breakfast. Next, we continue your journey towards Rissani, one of Morocco’s oldest cities. Arriving in Rissani, visit Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum and then stroll through the lively souks of Rissani. 

Next, we’ll then continue your trip toward Nkob, known as “The Kingdom Of Kasbahs,” where you’ll enjoy impressive sceneries along the way. We’ll stop to visit Berber nomad families along the way, offering you a glimpse into their unique way of life.

Afterward, we’ll head to Agdez, where you will stop for lunch. Following that, pass through Draa Valley, Morocco’s Longest Valley, enjoy the drive through Ait Souan road and Tizi N Tichka pass. In the late afternoon, we arrive in Marrakech and then transfer you to your accommodation or the airport, concluding your 3 days tour with memories that will last a lifetime.
