We will first start your 3 days tour from Marrakech heading towards the Sahara Desert of Merzouga, passing through the incredible High Atlas Mountains, appreciating the amazing Berber villages along the way.

    Stopping at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a favorite place for filmmakers where many movies have been filmed like Gladiator. Following that, we will then continue to Ouarzazate’s Film Studio Tourirt Kasbah, one of the ancient kasbahs in the region. After that, continue on to the scenic Dades Gorges.

    On the second day, you’ll reach the Sahara Desert of Merzouga,where you can experience a camel ride across Merzouga dunes and spend a night under the stars in the heart of the desert. The next day, travel toward Fes, admire the breathtaking views along the way, including stops in Erfoud and Aoufous, where you’ll visit one of the largest oases in the region. You”ll then cross Middle Atlas Mountains, before reaching Cedar forest of Azrou, Morocco’s largest Forest.     Itinerary of 3 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fes:

    Day 1: Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou →Dades valley (5H):

    In the morning we’ll pick you up at your accommodation in Marrakech and drive through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing Tizi N’Tichka pass on our way to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, the best place for filmmakers where many movies have been filmed like Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and The Mummy.

    In addition to that, we will continue on, heading toward Ouarzazate, which is known as Hollywood of Africa, and stop at the famous Atlas Studios and Taourirt kasbah, We will then head to Dades Gorges. On the way, we will drive through Kalaat Magouna, which is known as “The Rose City” where you’ll visit a local cooperative for rose cosmetic products. After that, proceed to Dades Gorges admiring the finest sceneries along the way. We will then pass through Khemis Dades. Stopping at panoramic view over Boumalne Dades gorges then continue to Dades Gorges where you’ll visit the famous Monkey Fingers rock formation and the winding road of Tisadrine before taking you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night in Dades Valley.

    Day 2: Dades Gorges → Todgha Gorges → Merzouga Desert (4)

    After breakfast in Dades Valley, we continue to the breathtaking Todgha Gorges, enjoying the amazing sceneries along the way. Upon reaching Todra Gorges, then take a leisurely stroll along the riverside, which is 352 meters high. Following that, continue our tour passing via small villages such as Tinjdad and Melaab. Arriving in Arfoud known as the date capital, make a visit to the fossil museum in the city.

    Late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga desert, where your camel guide will be waiting for you to take you through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. After that, we will stop to witness a breathtaking sunset and savour lovely views of the Sahara and then continue to your desert camp where you’ll spend the night at the camp. Feel free to try sandboarding. After dinner, enjoy a fascinating drumming party around the campfire with the locals. 

    Day 3:Merzouga →Ziz Valley → Fes (7H):

    Wake up for a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga then enjoy your breakfast at the camp. After that, take a camel ride through the dunes of Merzouga back to dunes line where you will meet your driver. Following that, continue your 3 days desert tour toward Fes.  On the route, we’ll make a notable stop at Ziz Valley where you’ll see one of the largest oasis in the region.

    Following that, you’ll then pass through the majestic Atlas Mountains, admiring the breathtaking sceneries along the way. Next, we will pass through Tizi N Talghamt. Stopping in Midelt known as ” The Apple Capital,” and Zaida, where we’ll stop for a relaxing and delightful lunch. Continuing our journey, we’ll explore the enchanting Cedar Forest of Azrou, Morocco’s largest Forest. Following that, continue to Ifrane, often known as” Morocco’s little Switzerland, drive to Fes finally transfer you to the airport or accommodation.

    How can I book this tour, and what are the payment methods available?

    To book your 3 days tour from Marrakech to Fes, simply contact us via WhatsApp, email, contact form, or social media. After we finalize the trip, a small deposit payable by PayPal, credit card, or bank transfer will be required to secure your booking. Once the deposit is received, you will receive a formal booking confirmation. The remaining balance can be paid in cash at pick-up or by credit card (subject to a 5% processing fee).

    What is your cancellation policy in case I have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances?

    Your deposit is fully refundable for cancellations made more than 15 days before your trip’s start date. Cancellations made less than 15 days, the deposit is none- refundable.

    Where will I meet the driver upon arrival? Is there a specific meeting point arranged?

    Our driver will pick you up at your location, whether at the airport or your accommodation. Kindly share your accommodation address so we can arrange your pick-up there at 8:40 a.m.

    If I choose not to go to the camp by camel, are there alternative transportation options available?

    Certainly if you prefer not to ride a camel, we can arrange a 4×4 Jeep transfer to take you to the camp instead.

    If I choose to ride the camel to the camp, will my luggage be transported separately to the camp?

    Absolutely, your luggage will be safely transported to the camp via a 4×4 jeep.
