4 Days in Morocco itinerary from Marrakech to Ouarzazate

In the morning, we’ll pick you up from your accommodation or the airport in Marrakech at 8:40 a.m. and then set off toward the lovely Ouzoud Waterfalls, the highest in North Africa. Along the way, we’ll make a stop to enjoy the breathtaking landscapes along the way.

Upon arrival at the Ouzoud waterfalls, you’ll then enjoy breathtaking views of the falls. Folowing that, take a guided walk around the area, and have lunch at a local restaurant with a panoramic view of the waterfalls. If you wish, you can also take a short boat ride for a unique experience of the falls. Late afternoon, we’ll take you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

In the morning, we continue your trip through the lovely Middle Atlas Mountains toward Imilchil, a charming Berber village nestled in the heart of the Atlas Mountains, enjoy the beautiful landscapes along the way.

Upon arrival, visit Isli lake before heading to the village of Imilchil, famous for its unique September Marriage Festival, known as “September Romance,” this cultural event celebrates the Ait Yaazza tradition, where women choose their life partners during a wedding celebration.

You’ll then have the chance to witness this unique cultural gathering. After that, admire the wonderful landscapes on the road to Tislite lake, one of the finest spots in the region then we’ll transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

After breakfast, we will travel toward Todra Gorges, enjoying the lovely sceneries along the way. Next, we will then drive through Ait Hdidou Valley. Upon arrival at Todra Gorges, a famous destination for mountains climbers, offering great mountains with a height of 320 meters, enjoy the outstanding sceneries, and take a tour along the riverside to see the fascinating landscapes. If you are interested, you can try your hand at mountain climbing.

Following that, we’ll then cross the Red Mountains, admiring the incredible landscapes along the way. Arriving in Dades Gorges, then visit the rock formation known as Monkey Fingers and the winding road of Tisadrine. Late afternoon, we’ll transfer you to your accommodation, where you’ll spend the night.

In the morning, we continue your trip toward Marrakech, passing through Kalaat M’gouna, known as the rose city, where you’ll visit a local cooperative for rose cosmetic products (optional stop).

Arriving in Skoura, known for its 1000 kasbahs, visit Ameridile Kasbah, one of the ancient kasbahs in the region. Following that, continue your trip toward Ouarzazate, enjoying the amazing landscapes along the way. Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, explore the film Studio of Ouarzazate and Taourirt kasbah. After that, continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and best place for film makers where several movies have been filmed, like Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and The Mummy.

After lunch at a local restaurant, we will then drive across the lovely Atlas Mountains, making a stop at Tizi N Tichka pass (2260 meters high), offering you eye-catching panoramic views over the High Atlas Mountains. Late afternoon, arrive in Marrakech finally transfer you to your accommodation or the airport in Marrakech.
