Following that, continue to the Sahara Desert of Merzouga offering a truly distinctive camel ride experience. Upon reaching Merzouga, set off on a camel ride through the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi to watch a captivating sunet and then continue to your desert camp where you’ll spend the night. Following that, enjoy a tour around Merzouga dunes on a 4×4 Jeep. After that, visit nomad families and explore their lifestyle. We will also visit Gnawa Khamlia and then continue your trip toward Rissani and Draa Valley, finally concluding your trip with a transfer to the airport or your accommodation in Marrakech.

Itinerary of 5 Days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga:

Day 1:Marrakech →High Atlas Mountains → Ait Ben Haddou →Dades Gorges (5H):

In the morning, our driver will meet you at the airport or your accommodation in Marrakech and then start your 5 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga enjoy an unforgettable trip from Marrakech to Dades Gorges, crossing the High Atlas Mountains and cross the Tizi N’Tichka pass 2,260 meters and witness lovely villages nestled on the mountainsides, taking in the finest sceneries along the way.

Our trip continues to Ouarzazate. Stopping at the famous kasbah of Ait Ben haddou a UNESCO world heritage site, and one of the best destination for film makers. Following that, We’ll then cross the rugged stone desert to explore the Kasbah of Taourirt and the famous film studios of Ouarzazate.

Following lunch, enjoy a scenic drive through Dades Valley along the famous road of a thousand Kasbahs, passing through the charming town of Skoura, known for its beautiful kasbahs, and then proceed to Kelaat Magouna, known as the rose city where you’ll visit a local cooperative for rose cosmetic products (optional stop).

Upon reaching Dades gorges, we’ll then visit the rock formation known as” Monkey Fingers ” then, you’ll be transferred to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 2: Dades Gorges →Todra Gorges →Merzouga Desert (4H):

After breakfast, we will then head toward the breathtaking Todra Gorges, a popular destination for rock climbers. Continuing our journey, we will follow the ancient Bedouin trade routes running parallel to the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through a series of fortified villages known for their remarkable architecture. Following that, we will then continue to Erfoud, enjoying the amazing landscapes along the way. Arriving in Erfoud known as ” The Date Capital” visit a fossil museum in the city before continuing to Merzouga desert.

We will then pass through the majestic oasis of Tafilalet heading to Merzouga. Upon arrival in Merzouga, we will leave our vehicle behind and join on a camel ride through the lovely golden sand dunes, reaching a traditional Berber camp in the middle of the desert, where you’ll finally spend a magical night in the middle of the desert with a drumming party around the campfire.

Day 3:Merzouga Full Tour:

In the morning, wake up for a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga, a sight not to be missed. Afterward, we will then take a leisurely stroll along the undulating sands and then return to your desert camp for breakfast.

We will first start our day tour of Merzouga, immersing yourself in its rich cultural tapestry. We will explore the surrounding areas, including Hassi Lbeid, Tanamoust, and Khamlia, where you can delight in the soulful rhythms of African music. Following that, continue your journey to visit nomadic families, gaining insight into their traditional lifestyle and savoring the flavors of a Berber pizza. Afterwards, continue to Merzouga for a hearty lunch.

Late afternoon, we will visit the enchanting Hassi Lbeid Oasis, where you can enjoy a panoramic views of Merzouga and then take you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.

Day 4:Merzouga Desert → Rissani → Nkob → Draa Valley → Ouarzazate (5H):

After breakfast at your riad, we’ll then continue your trip toward Tafilalet palm grove and the historic town of Rissani, birthplace of the Alaouite Dynasty.

We’ll strol through the lively streets of the city and discover the former capital of the Alaouite Sultans before heading to Alnif, where the route crosses the Jbel Saghro range of the Anti-Atlas. Following that, enjoy marvelous views of the unique grey-black mountains traveling through the Berber villages of Tazzarine and N’kob.

After that, make your way into the Draa Valley lined with majestic palm trees. By late afternoon, the journey continues to Ouarzazate via the Anti-Atlas and Tizi N’Tniffift pass. Upon arrival in Ouarzazate we’ll finally transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the last night of your 5 days from Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour.

Day 5:Ouarzazate →High Atlas Mountains → Marrakech (3H):

After a warm breakfast at your Riad, we’ll depat toward Marrakech enjoying the amazing sceneries along the way. Stopping at Tizi N Tichka pass (2260 meters) where you will enjoy breathtaking views over the High Atlas Mountains. Continuing your trip toward Marrakech. Late afternoon, we will arrive in Marrakech then transfer you to your accommodation or the airport concluding your 5 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga with amazing stories and memories.

How can I book this tour, and what are the payment methods available?

To book your 5 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, simply contact us via WhatsApp, email, contact form, or social media. After we finalize the trip, a small deposit payable by PayPal, credit card, or bank transfer will be required to secure your booking. Once the deposit is received, you will receive a formal booking confirmation. The remaining balance can be paid in cash at pick-up or by credit card (subject to a 5% processing fee).

What is your cancellation policy in case I have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances?

Your deposit is fully refundable for cancellations made more than 15 days before your trip’s start date. However, cancellations made within 15 days, the deposit is none-refundable.

Where will I meet the driver upon arrival? Is there a specific meeting point arranged?

Our driver will meet you at your location, whether at the airport or your accommodation. Kindly share your accommodation address so we can arrange your pick-up there at 8:40 a.m.

If I choose not to go to the camp by camel, are there alternative transportation options available?

Certainly if you prefer not to ride a camel, we can arrange a 4×4 Jeep transfer to take you to the camp instead.

If I choose to ride the camel to the camp, will my luggage be transported separately to the camp?

Absolutely, your luggage will be safely transported to the camp via a 4×4 jeep.
