Welcome to Morocco! upon arrival at the airport in Fes, our driver will meet your and then transfer you to your riad where you will spend the first night of your Morocco 12 day itinerary.
After breakfast, meet your local guide for a fascinating city tour of Fes, Morocco’s first imperial city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will then start your tour with a visit to the Royal Palace gates, then head to Borj Nord for lovely panoramic views of the Medina. Following that, uncover traditional craftsmanship at a pottery cooperative and explore the famous tanneries. After that, continue to Attarine Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss.
After lunch at a local restaurant, we will then visit Batha Museum, 9th-century royal palace, before returning to your accommodation where you will spend the night.
In the morning, we will depart from Fes for the enchanting blue town of Chefchaouen, situated in the Rif Mountains. We will stroll through its winding Medina and its vibrant blue streets of Chefchaouen, visiting the Spanish Mosque and Ras Lma waterfalls.
After lunch, continue toward Tangier, stopping by the beautiful Akchour Waterfalls along the way. Upon arrival in Tangier admire the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Strait of Gibraltar, explore the charming old medina’s narrow streets, and visit Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic ocean meets the Mediterranean sea. After that, explore the old Medina of Tangier before taking to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.
After breakfast at your hotel in Tangier, depart for Rabat, Morocco’s capital, enjoying scenic views along the way and stopping in the coastal town of Asilah where you’ll explore its lovely old Medina. Then we continue to Rabat, Morocco’s capital city, we’ll visit the 12th-century Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Continue to explore the tranquil Oudaya Kasbah and the ancient Chellah ruins before strolling through the lively souks. Later, you’ll be transferred to your riad for the fourth night of your Morocco itinerary 12 days.
After breakfast, we will leave for Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city, we will start a tour with a visit to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, Africa’s second-largest mosque and one of the few open to non-Muslims. Enjoy views of the Atlantic Ocean before exploring Casablanca’s old Medina, Mohamed V Square, and the Habous Quarter. Later, continue your journey to the red city of Marrakech, admiring the amazing landscapes along the way. Arriving in Marrakech then transfer you to your accommodation where you’ll spend the night.
After breakfast, meet your local guide for a full-day tour of Marrakech. We will start a visit to the historic landmarks of Marrakech including the 19th-century Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the historic Ben Youssef Madrasa. After that, continue to the 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque, the second largest mosque in Morocco.
Next, explore the busy souks of the old Medina, perfect for shopping and local products. Enjoy a peaceful break at the Majorelle Garden in the modern district of Gueliz, we will then head to Jemaa El Fna Square to experience its lively atmosphere filled with musicians, storytellers, and performers. In the late afternoon, return to your accommodation for the night.
In the morning, we will cross the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying the eye- catching landscapes along the way. Stopping at Tizi N Tichka pass (2260 meters). Following that, we will then continue toward Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage site, and best place for film makers where several movies have been filmed like Gladiator, Game of Thrones and The Mummy.
Afterward, visit Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” and explore Taourirt Kasbah and the famous film studios. Following that, proceed through the lush Skoura Oasis to see the historic Amridil Kasbah. After that, we will then head to Kalaat M’gouna, known as“Rose City.” By late afternoon, we arrive in Dades Gorges where you’ll visi the rock formation known as ” Moneky Fingers” then take you to your riad where you’ll spend the night.
After a hearty breakfast, we will then continue your trip toward the Sahara Desert of Merzouga, passing through Tinghir’s palm groves, admiring the finest sceneries along the way. Arriving at Todra Gorges, walk through the gorges. You will then enjoy a walk through the impressive canyon before following the ancient Bedouin trade routes along the Middle Atlas, passing picturesque fortified villages. Stop in the Berber town of Melaab for an optional Henna tattoo experience.
After that, head to Erfoud, famous for its date production and fossil museums, before reaching the majestic Merzouga Desert, the gateway to the Sahara. Upon arrival, join a camel ride across the golden dunes with a stop to watch the sunset, and then continue to your desert camp for an evening of music, drumming, and an unforgettable night under the stars.
In the morning, wake up early to watch the wonderful sunrise over the golden dunes of Merzouga, then enjoy breakfast at your camp before setting off on your desert tour. We will start with a visit to Khamlia village to meet the local Gnawa people from Mali and Niger, enjoy their traditional music, and learn about their culture.
Continue to visit nomadic families living behind the dunes in traditional tents and taste authentic Berber pizza. Following that, explore the Mefis desert, known for its fossils. Afterward, we’ll visit the national Car Museum before taking you to Hass Lbeid oasis and then take you to your riad for the night.
In the morning, after breakfast in Merzouga, we will then drive toward Rissani, one of Morocco’s historic towns, visiting the Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum and strolling through its traditional souks. After that, continue through the scenic Tafilalet Oasis and stop at Aoufous where you’ll enjoy a fantastic panorama over the city.
We will then proceed to the breathtaking Ziz Valley, with a stop for a viewpoint, before crossing the Tizi n’Talghamt Pass. We will then stop at a local restaurant in Rich town for lunch, then continue to Midelt, known as “ The Apple Capital,” enjoying the beautiful landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation for the night.
After breakfast in Midelt, we will depart for Fes, enjoying the wonderful landscapes along the route. Stop at Azrou Cedar Forest, Morocco’s largest, then continue to Ifrane, often knwon as “The Little Switzerland of Morocco”. After that, we will drive through the scenic Immouzar Kander before arriving in Fes, where you’ll check into your riad for the last night of your Morocco 12 day itinerary.
Based on your flight time, our driver will transfer you to the airport in Fes concluding your trip with memories to remmeber.
